17/9 Diary

Morning

I got up at 7 a.m. I made it. After getting up, I ate breakfast, the usual one. And I prepared for outdoor walking because today I planned to go mushroom picking with my friend family, Oskar, who is a high school teacher in Växjö.

I left home at 7:45, and went to the station to take the bus. There were 6 Japanese people including me. Today, we went to Oskar’s parents’ house. It took us about 40 minutes to go there by bus. There are much nature there. Oskar’s parents pick us up in the bus station, so we went to their house by bus.

Mushroom picking

When we got to their house, a dog welcomed us. Her name is åva(ova), maybe I made a mistake for her name though. She loves person and jumped into all of us. She was so cute that I touched her a lot.

After arriving there, we went to the forest to pick mushrooms. Åva came with us. I walked through the big nature and refreshed my mind. That was nice time. We were able to pick up some mushrooms. And I learned which kind of mushrooms can be eaten and which has toxic. During the walking in the nature, I could also get some berries. I ate a lot!

We had walked for more than 1 hour. We came back from the forest, cooked mushrooms and chilled in the garden. Their garden was so beautiful, there were many plants. I was surprised at two trees of cherry blossoms there.

Ägg

When we were in the garden, Oskar’s mother said us “why don’t we pick up eggs?”. So, we went to the house for chickens. There were a lot of chickens and they screamed loudly. We picked up their eggs and took 12 eggs home.

Lunch

We had lunch at around 12. We ate a Swedish dish with big sausage as a main dish. And we also ate bread Oskar’s mother baked. That was like a cracker and tasty. We ate fried mushrooms with butter. So tasty.

After the lunch, we ate vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce putting on. Both of ice cream and sauce were made by Oskar’s parents. Those made a great harmony in my mouth.

We left there at 13:30 to go to the bus stop. I experienced many things there for the first time. That was a great time.
